The Chapter 4 Booklet is due tomorrow. We will go over it in class and then I will collect it. We start a partner-project tomorrow!
Please note that in order to attend the Canada 2067 youth conference next Thursday, ALL work must be handed in. In Social Studies this includes the Chapter 3 booklet, two political cartoon analyses (there is one or two students who have not handed in the most recent one: Star Wars), and the Chapter 4 booklet that is due this Monday. If you are unsure if you have completed these assignments, check Home Logic. You have until Tuesday morning to hand these in.
We will be starting a Chapter 4 project on Tuesday and it is due the following Monday. We devoted all our class time to Language Arts today. Tomorrow you will have an entire period to work on the Chapter 4 booklet. This is due on Monday, February 26.
Your Chapter 3 booklets have been marked and returned to you. Social Studies marks have been entered into Home Logic.
Today the Chapter 3 Vocabulary portion of the test was returned to you. We began working on Chapter 4 in the textbook.
Today in class you had the morning to finish annotating and answering the questions for "Tracking." Those who finished this went on to read Chapter 4 in the social textbook and take notes. In the afternoon we discussed conflict and theme in "A Worn Path."
Today you received your political cartoons back. We discussed the issue represented in the cartoon and the cartoonist's intention. Some of you have been given the opportunity to improve your mark by rewriting your response. This is due tomorrow.
Both classes today were given to writing the Chapter 3 test. I have marked and entered your marks in HomeLogic for the Vocabulary portion of the test.
There are about 4 students who have not yet finished the second political cartoon that was returned to you earlier this week. As of right now, these students have NHI for this assignment in HomeLogic. Please get this in to me ASAP. |
